£95.00

Quantity:

Here is a montage of some game birds to be found in the British Isles. A pair of grey partridges feature as the central study, with red grouse, top right, common snipe bottom right, pheasant, bottom left and woodcock, top left.

Grey partridge are now sadly reduced in numbers across the UK due to habitat loss and the use of herbicides and pesticides that effect saw fly larvae, the food source of the chicks. Snipe and woodcock are thankfully not shot in any numbers, again due to their falling numbers across Europe.

This mounted print is available only as an A3 image
